Players not
calling a MIA to give others more time to get to table will also be placed on
the clock!
Members received 10 minutes for a MIA, up to 3 times. Automatic DQ on 3rd MIA. If a player is in another game, only 5 minutes is given.
When a player returns from a MIA and
returns to table and is then booted again - IF a domino had been played
when they returned, the second 10 min timer starts. IF no domino was played when
they returned then they remain on the first clock.
When a player is reported MIA, please give the number of minutes he/she has and
the current time. Please be sure to use Eastern Standard Time as that is how the
tourney times are set up.
Players are allowed one "refresh" without being penalized. They
should inform the TD they are refreshing lobby or it should count as a MIA.
Refresh means totally reloading the lobby.
If a player times out of the top bracket in a Double Elimination or one round in
a Swiss, they next match is only given 5 minutes MIA. DE's are then
dq'ed and in Swiss's, the player should be removed before the next round.
If both players on MIA in the pairing, they both get clocked. If
neither player shows up to play, the player with the highest rating gets the
win. However, the next match is an AUTO DQ for the MIA player.
Host has final say in all disputes.
Everyone is here to have fun; good sportsmanship is valued above winning or losing and should be your highest priority.
Abuse of other player or tournament directors is not cool and will not be tolerated.
This is your only warning with regard to abuse of other
persons.
